Look out for the shop signs and logos that use pictograms originally designed for the Tokyo 1964 Olympics as well as a music video inspired by US gymnast Simone Biles. It’s set to original music from anime composer Kenji Kawai. The kit has been designed by Daisuke Obana and feature a chequered pattern reminiscent of the logo.

It only presents identity crises. By providing that same kind of look to a small business, also presents it in a very strange position. Everyone could use a giggle now and then when they see a tacky shop sign seemingly made with Powerpoint. We are perpetrating a narrow-minded view of what creatives can be.
