Copies of 01 magazine come out, a youth culture publication from the 1990s and one of Karlopoulos’ early projects using digital publishing techniques.

In her work Here on Future Earth , she employs her Cree Comic Sans in a series of photographs that show everyday scenes in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan, replacing the English on shop signs and town wayfinding with Cree syllabics.
