Works by Chiara Andreatti: Ancas designed for Pretziada Ancas is a sideboard inspired by the traditional Sardinian chest, one of the oldest furniture on the island. Made of solid chestnut wood and assembled completely by hand in Mandis’s workshop, Ancas is a substantial sculptural reinterpretation of an important piece of Sardinian history.

Juliane Fink studied literature and linguistics and worked as a linguist before starting to study Industrial Design at the University for Applied Arts Vienna in her late twenties. I started to study industrial design in my late 20s and finished in my early 30s (after working as a linguist for a couple of years).

Kämpfer and a team of in-house industrial designers and product engineers worked closely with De La Espada’s wood and upholstery specialists, local craftspeople, and the company co-founders, Luis De Oliveira and Fátima De La Espada. The drawer’s front was designed with a recessed handle hidden from view.

A further workshop resulted in Dirt Baby as the product's name, a play on 'fur baby' that "fit perfectly with the brand's core insight". In another happy coincidence, Practice added a full-time industrial designer to its team shortly before Dirt Baby got going. Doing our jobs just for fun was, in fact, fun!
