In today’s video tutorial I’m going to share some useful techniques for creating a glowing effect in Photoshop to make objects appears as if they are illuminated. I’ll be applying the effect to the antlers of a deer in this example to create a surreal fantasy image, but the same process can be used to add lighting effects to all kinds of objects within a scene.

Herr Menig Junior is an optician for kids. The retail shop is a playful offshoot of Herr Menig Optik , an optometrist in Nürnberg, Germany. The retail interior was designed by Raum Klaue , and we collaborated to create wall graphics and a colour concept. The Herr Menig Junior logo relates to Herr Menig Optik’s original owl that’s used to identify the shop for grown-ups.
