Lieder zur Weihnachtszeit (“Songs for Christmastide”) was published by Georg Kallmeyer Verlag in 1940. Despite the poor condition, it looked like a charming booklet on first sight.

Description Tweed is a rough, closely woven woolen textile with a soft open and flexible texture. Tweed is usually woven with a plain weave, twill or herringbone structure. Color variations may be obtained by blending dyed wool before spinning. Terms “Twill” – a fabric so woven as to have a surface of diagonal parallel ridges, just like your blue jeans. “Plain weave” – a basic weaving style in which the weft alternates over and under the warp.
