I've just submitted my 30th illustrated recipe for They Draw and Cook, so they can consider publishing them in a book. It's been a true labour of love and far trickier than I anticipated. The trade off is I've received much work from clients seeing my ideas, and I hope they continue to check in on the TDAC site. Here are the last two recipes, for easy baguettes and Christmas gingerbread.

In 2009 I finished my multimedia degree in college and went to work at a design agency as an intern in Montreal.

A few days ago I made a short video on Periscope about Pinterest, tall pins and foodie illustrations. As these videos are only around for 24 hours I've decided to blog about the main points I mentioned, as many folks found it very useful. I'd like to point out one important aspect of Pinterest: approx 80% of pins on Pinterest are repins, so the image has kind of been 'recycled' over and over which is great as that's how your work is spread, and found in searches.

Since folks found the last post about tall pins useful I've added a few more details you may want to be mindful of. 1 - Try to keep the essence of the original illustration/ pattern. This was for the Feast aspect of They Draw and Cook - the normal layout spread.but now rearranged first to this.but also this to make best use of viewing in different social media platforms and devices. 2) Create in 'squarish' and 'tallish' formats. 3) Make it 'decorative' and appealing 4) Don't forgot your watermar
I've been a little bit under the weather since Thought Bubble Comic Festival (and an adventure to Nottingham last week to boot) so naturally, I've basked in the warm embrace of Netflix. Jessica Jones, a new show based on the Marvel comic, has just popped up and I've absolutely stormed through it as, well, it's brilliant. I love TV shows with strong-but-realistic female lead characters (yup, I've been meaning to draw a million Buffy characters) and you'll notice a lot of tough ladies in my illust

My goal in talking to James Victore for the Profit. Power. Pursuit. podcast was to figure out his special brand of, well, personal branding. His persona—and what I’ve come to believe is his real life character—is a magnetic rockstar-cum-artist. What makes James personal brand unique, though, is that it’s not just a representation of who he is, but seems to be the driving factor behind what he’s been able to accomplish.

Today I am wearing Victoria Beckham I love this coat, it's so chic. I guess the price tag is a little out of most people's realm but I have offset that by just popping it over my undies. Judging by the runway look it was the designers vision n'all. Justified.

Last Friday I wore this amazing galaxy print skirt by Matthew Williamson and it got me thinking about all the other space themed loveliness out there. I am particularly in love with the Valentino pre-fall Cosmo collection. In fact I'm starting to think that currently Valentino is my favorite designer. For example this and this and hello, this! Here I am wearing their covet-able embroidered cape.
Today I'm wearing Matthew Williamson AW 2015.and if you love my look as much as I do you can buy the skirt here. A mere snip at £1530 Shhhhh don't tell Daddy!
Today I'm wearing Fendi AW2015 This outfit is just perfect for the strangely changeable weather we've been having recently, one minute sunshine and dare I say it hot and the next chilly and foggy (Yes it's true we Brits do love to obsess about the weather) The dress also helps with the pain that is getting out of bed in the morning, I feel as if I could just stop and have a little nap just about anywhere in this get up!
