“Garbage Pail Kids cards blew my mind,” said accomplished painter, printmaker, and draftsman Glen Baldridge. I have always had a number of other freelance jobs within the art world, and the gallery exhibitions have kept me focused on making my own work and allowed me to flesh out and develop ideas.

Moriyama & Teshima and Acton Ostry Architects ’ winning scheme for the mass-timber tower (formerly dubbed The Arbour) was announced in April 2018 and took home the AZ Award for Unbuilt Buildings the next year. Since then, we’ve patiently awaited its arrival on the Toronto waterfront.

Fonts in Use

Conceived and designed by Pierre Pané-Farré , the book won the Gold Medal in the competition Best Book Design from all over the World and also was awarded at the Walter Tiemann Prize 2018. The fonts in use are various wood, brass, and metal types from the poster type collection of the HGB’s printmaking workshop.
