Back in 2018, Tea was recognised one of Australia’s #OUT50 LGBTQ Leaders by Deloitte. She also designed the exhibitiongraphics for the Filipino American Centennial Exhibition in 1998, which featured playful typography and bright colours to celebrate Filipino-American culture.
I work on everything from visual identities, websites, exhibitiongraphics to lots of editorial design. The biggest challenge can sometimes be a sense of isolation when facing difficult situations, but I’ve learned to open up and surround myself with people who are extremely supportive and give me advice when I face a challenge.
