Spending her time between Beijing and New York, Xiangni was trained at the School of VisualArts in 2016. She subsequently transitioned from illustration to fineart by enrolling in the MFA FineArts program at Pratt Institute in 2020.
Through those, I realised that I could pursue art as a profession. That's when I decided to go to an art college.". And that's exactly what she did in 2016, studying VisualArts at the Faculty of FineArts at The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda and graduating in 2020, during the height of the pandemic.
After graduating from NMIT’s School Of VisualArts, she found solace in Brisbane, Australia, settling there in 2007. For the better part of the following decade, she thrived as a professional illustrator, photographer, and commissioned artist, operating under the moniker of Lix Creative, her graphic art studio.
He later studied at the Philadelphia Museum School of Art and Pennsylvania Academy of FineArts before moving to New York. In a full-circle moment for the studio, Pentagram led the design on an immersive exhibition for the band at London’s Saatchi Gallery in 2016.
I had previously studied FineArts in photography and then worked at Nikon for a few years as a sales rep. Pre-Shillington I had completed a BA at Ravensbourne between 2013 & 2016 in Digital Advertising & Design, so this was by no means a major career shift for me. I studied FineArt and graduated in 2015.
