1 Smoothy Lamp from Gantri When Brooklyn-based industrial designer Louis Filos a was first contemplating schemes for a new desk lamp for California lighting brand Gantr i he found inspiration from a rather unexpected source – soft serve cones being doled out from an ice cream truck.

London-based design duo Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby have made some updates to their Olio collection for Royal Doulton. Originally released in 2015, the porcelain tableware series (which also includes sustainable wooden serveware and stainless steel cutlery) was an instant hit for its intentionally eclectic approach.
