Westphal GraphicDesign students also have access to the college’s Hybrid Making Lab. Interesting addition, famous graphicdesigner and ambigram artist, John Langdon, who created the ambigram for the cover of Dan Brown’s bestselling novel Angels and Demons, taught at Westphal until his retirement in 2015.
Roski offers both an undergraduate Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Design and a graduate Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Design. Students also get hands-on in skills-based workshops in 2D and 3D design-specific media. The Center was opened in 2015 “to advance the research, teaching and understanding of letterform design.”
